# Local visibility

> Opening hours, address and service area as data, in three languages and identical everywhere: how btlabs Core supports your local visibility.

## btlabs Core · Local

## Local visibility: where your customers search.

Local visibility means showing up in searches tied to a place. Anyone asking for “joinery Merano” or “dentist Bolzano open today” gets a handful of names — from Google, from the map, from an AI. Whether yours is among them depends in part on clear data about your business, the same details everywhere and a page in the language the question is asked in. btlabs Core takes care of the data on your website — the groundwork for your local visibility. Your Google Business Profile is managed at Google.

## Built in

## Your details, the same everywhere.

Many local mistakes are not a ranking problem but a contradiction: different opening hours on the website and in the profile, an old phone number in the imprint. That is why these details have exactly one source in btlabs Core.

- 01
- One source
- Entered once, identical everywhere.
- Name, address, phone and opening hours are maintained in one place. The pages themselves read from it, as do the structured data for search engines, the llms.txt and your business's machine profiles. Change an opening time and it changes everywhere it's read from this source — only your Google profile needs updating there.
- 02
- Structured data
- A business, not a page of text.
- Your business appears as a local business with address, coordinates, opening hours, service area and services in the structured data of every page. A search engine doesn't have to guess where you are and when you're open.
- 03
- Only what's visible
- No detail that appears nowhere.
- What is marked up is what's also visible on your website — that's how the system is built. Markup without visible content goes against search engine rules; that's exactly where many fail.
- 04
- Three languages
- People search in German, Italian and English.
- In South Tyrol people search in German and Italian, guests in English. Each language has its own addresses, titles and descriptions, and search engines learn which page is in which language.
- 05
- Opening hours
- Opening hours as data.
- Your weekly hours are available as data — for the page, for search engines and for AI assistants asking whether you're still open on Thursday. Exceptions such as public holidays go in as a note: it appears in the files for AI assistants and, where you include it, on the page — not in the structured data for search engines.

## Beyond your website

## What counts beyond your website.

- 01
- Your Google Business Profile.
- The map in Google Search shows details from your Business Profile. You manage it at Google yourself — no website can fill it in for you. The one thing that matters: the same details as on your site.
- 02
- Reviews.
- Reviews appear where your customers leave them. Testimonials are shown visibly on your website; they deliberately stay out of your business's structured data — Google usually doesn't show stars for reviews a business publishes about itself.
- 03
- Directories and the chamber of commerce.
- Industry directories, the chamber of commerce, tourism portals: everywhere your business should have the same name and the same contact details. A single contradiction can be enough for an AI to recommend you wrongly.

## Plain talk

## What we don't promise.

- 01
- No spot on the map.
- Which businesses Google shows on the map is Google's decision — based on relevance, distance and prominence. btlabs Core makes sure your data doesn't stand in the way.
- [Found on Google →](https://btlabs.dev/en/found-on-google)
- 02
- Your profile stays at Google.
- The Business Profile lives at Google and belongs to you. btlabs Core doesn't access it or fill it in.
- 03
- Local mentions are human work.
- Coverage in local media, listings with associations, referrals from partners come from relationships, not software. If you'd like help with that: Berger+Team.

## FAQ

## Frequently asked questions: local visibility.

### Do I need a Google Business Profile if my website already has everything?

Yes. The map in Google Search and Google Maps show details from the Business Profile, not from your website. The website gives search engines and AI systems unambiguous details about your business. What matters is that both say the same thing: you manage the profile at Google, and your website's name, address, phone and opening hours in one place in btlabs Core.

### Why do name, address and phone number need to match everywhere?

Search engines and AI assistants piece together the details about your business from many sources: your website, your Business Profile, directories, review sites. If these sources contradict each other, search engines and assistants can't tell which is right — and at worst give out the wrong phone number or old opening hours. On your website, you maintain these details in one place in btlabs Core; the other sources you align by hand — again whenever something changes.

### What languages do you work in?

German, Italian and English — just like the foundations we build.
