# Generative UI

A Generative UI (generative user interface) is an interface that is not pre-built but generated by an AI at the moment of use – tailored to the specific question or task. Instead of navigating through fixed pages and menus, the user gets exactly the view they need right now.

This shifts how people reach information: away from the one designed page, towards content that an AI recomposes flexibly. It is related to the idea of Zero-UI, where the classic on-screen interface recedes entirely into the background.

For businesses, the same principle follows as for AI visibility overall: your content must exist as clear, structured data. Only what a machine understands cleanly can it build into a generated interface.
